Your Offering At St. Andrew's
There are several options to individuals who would like to contribute financially to St. Andrew's Church:
Offering Envelopes
Pre-numbered envelopes can be provided to anyone wishing to contribute on a regular basis. These are used to submit your offering. Your contribution is credited to you and an official income tax receipt will automatically be sent to you at the end of the year. You can contribute cash or cheque.
If you wish to give a lump sum once or several times a year, you can still obtain an envelope number and make your contribution in a plain white envelope (available at the back of the church) on which you can note either your envelope number or your name. Your gift will be credited to your envelope number and a tax receipt will be issued at the end of the year.
PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) Program
"I give by Pre-Authorized Remittance because my church is one of my priorities"
If you already use automatic bank withdrawals to pay for insurance, taxes, fuel, mortgage etc., then you understand PAR.
It means predictable monthly contributions to the church which allows our church family to confidently carry out the programs and mission work that are important to you.
The PAR program also means regular support to the church in an amount you choose, continued support while you are away and fewer transactions through your bank account.
The PAR contribution that you establish is automatically withdrawn on or about the 20th of each month. You can change your contribution at any time by simply contacting the office. As with offering envelopes, statements and tax receipts are automatically sent to you. PAR cards are available for you to place in the offering plate in lieu of an envelope.
PAR brochures are available at the office counter. Contact Susan Avery at the church for further information (519-376-7886).

Memorial Donations
Loved ones can be remembered and important occasions honoured by making special donations. The amount is credited to your offering envelope number or an immediate receipt can be issued if you do not have a number.
A card will be sent to the family of the person who has passed away, or to the person or couple, if it is to recognize a special event. The card will indicate that a special donation was made to St. Andrew's Memorial Fund and identify the donor. The amount is not disclosed.
Donations are also accepted at Easter and during the Christmas season which go toward the purchase of an Easter flower arrangement and a Memorial Christmas Tree in memory of loved ones.
Planned Giving
This type of financial support looks beyond yearly contributions...hence the term "Planned Giving". It may include assets other than cash such as real estate, stocks, life insurance or annuities. Planned giving often reflects your personal experiences with the church and your specific wants and passions when it comes to Christian and Community ministry.
The choices you make depend on your personal lifestyle and reflect your financial situation. It is important to talk with a reputable financial planning professional to ensure you get the results you want.
For brochures or additional information specific to planned giving, please contact Bruce Price CA at 519-376-6876 or speak with your investment or legal advisor.
