St. Andrew's Owen Sound Quilters

 

The St. Andrew's Quilters can be found in the Chapel most Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We are a dedicated group but enjoy the morning coffee break with church people at 10 a.m. and then enjoy a bag lunch with each other.

We also have "work days" - usually once a month on a Friday where we work on projects for the annual "Harvest Happening".

We have participated in, visited and organized quilt shows and share in potluck meals at Christmas and in June.

We have stitched our way through hundreds of quilts where the proceeds from our efforts have helped in various funds, outreach projects and the church.

New helpers are always welcome. If you are a novice quilter, we'll teach you the needle-rocking technique on a small project of your own choice, and when you feel confident with your skills, you will be welcome to join us at the big quilt. Come for the fellowship as you practice your skills.
