Living Life to the Full!
St. Andrew's exists to bring people to a full life in God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This life is lived through worship and fellowship and in mission to God's world.
Core Values
Core Values outline the basics from which we seek to live out our mission and vision.
Basic Beliefs:
We base our theology and practice on the Bible, God's Word for yesterday and today: we strive through study and reflection, in preaching and service to seek the relevance of the Bible for today as we seek to "live life to the full."
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada we use as a guide, Living Faith: A Contemporary Statement of Faith of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Worship Together:
We celebrate our fullness of life in worship that both respects our heritage as a Reform church, and is relevant to current issues.

Common Witness:
We reflect the authority and life of Jesus Christ in all aspects of our life. In our witness by word and in action, we offer hope to the world around us inviting others to discover God's offer of "life to the full" in Christ.

Life in Christian Community:
We respect, welcome, love and accept everyone regardless of age, gender, race, ability level, social or economic status. We invite all people to discover and live out a full life as children of God. We truly strive to "love God and love people."

Shared Ministry:
We believe that each one has unique, God-given gifts. St. Andrew's emphasizes a partnership in ministry as we call each individual to use these gifts to serve Jesus.
We creatively minister to people of all ages, offering a wide variety of opportunities of study and of service, addressing needs within the congregation and in the world.

Living Compassion:
We demonstrate the grace of God in Christ for all people. We care for all who pass through our doors whether they are here regularly or for the first time. We live according to the example Jesus has set for us: proclaiming the message of forgiveness and reconciliation as we minister to the physical and spiritual needs of people. We reflect the love of Jesus in all our words and actions.

A Part of the Family of Christ:
We recognize that we are a part of the world-wide family of Jesus Christ. We work in partnership with other communities within the Christian church, local and international. We partner with many Christian mission agencies (e.g. PWSD (Presbyterian World Service & Development; Operation Christmas Child, PAN (Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans) etc.)

Pursuing Peace and Justice:
We actively respond to injustice we discover around us, locally, nationally and internationally. In whatever ways we are able, we offer to our world ways to "live life to the full".

Environmentally Sustainable:
St. Andrew's is committed to minimize the impact our ministry has on the environment. We use sustainable practices and are targeting a reduced ecological footprint. We also seek to educate our community concerning their personal environmental impact and offer solutions designed to help achieve greater sustainability.
